Willow

Isn't this the prettiest tree? The evening light makes the leaves turn translucent, and it's especially nice when the wind is gentle and the branches twirl around. Jerevi's children liked the adventure of getting right inside the umbrella of the tree for their portraits. When I was a little girl, I used to love climbing trees and getting high enough to be completely surrounded by green leaves. Magical!

Baby Grace

This little one has the most beautiful room (although she is still sleeping close to mom and hasn't moved in yet!). I love the area rug with the huge pink G, and the dark brown chest of drawers where we tucked Grace in on top of a stack of blankets. And what a great name. It reminds me of those Little House on the Prairie books I read over and over when I was a child...

Play Group

I met Liz recently at Art in the Square, where she told me how much she loves casual, candid portraits. She told me that her family has some treasured portraits from the 70's, where the children were taken out to a park to play. That photographer captured a range of expressions from the kids, and they have become very precious to the family through the years. I love this story so much, and I'll bet that photographer would be so happy to know what those images have meant to Liz. Thank you for having us in your home, Liz, and for introducing us to some new friends!

Ethan

This is the softest little marshmallow ever! Isn't he cute?? I'll bet Tiffany and Ian are tempted to nibble on one of those cheeks!
